Some people might say that original Korean traditional food is the most competitive by itself around the whole world without any alterations following the global trends. However, in my opinion, I firmly believe that korean food needs to be hamony with other foreign cuisines and lifestyles for the following two subsequent reasons. To begin with, Korean cuisines have to change their compostion of ingredients. To be specific, foreign people have different appetites and are accustomed to their own food in comparision with Korean. For example, while I traveled to London by train, I saw a strange scene in the train. One child ate black laver withour rice, whick looked like eating snacks. Thus, I tried to eat the same laver by thinking original Korean types of laver. However, the laver was less salt and more crust in order to make laver different types of snacks. It was clearly seen that Korean food was required to alter its cuisine methods to appeal foreingers.
On top of that, Korean cuisines need to adapt different cultures and foodstyles. To explain, many people in overseas countries prefer to eat alone and choose their food according to their preference. For instance, there was the survey conducted by Korea University, with 300 foreingers as respondents. The purpose of the survery was to figure out what types of food they prefer to eat. What it found was astounding. Overwhelming 90% responded that they tended to go to cafeterias which could choose ingredients and vegetables due to their eating habits and their allergies. In addition, from the newmedia, one of the korean stores succeeded owing to providiing foreigners with a myriad of food selections, to make them being contended with their lifestyles.
To sum up, taking the affirmative benefits of adapting Korean food into consideration, it is worth changing the methods of Korea cuisines. In this regard, I strongly support the perscpective that reforming Korean food far outweights its counterpart.
