Some people might think that the internet is the best tool for academic performance. However, I believe that though the internet is conducive to studying, It is not the best method for academic performance concerning the credibility of its information and memorization.
To begin with, there are is so many(가산 명사만 가능) a lot of information(불가산명사) of low credibility on the internet There are is plenty of unverified information(불가산명사) that are written by amateurs. Any people can write something on the internet even its credibility are is not guaranteed and it is hard for people to determine whether it is reliable information or not. I will take an example of myself to demonstrate this point. Last semester, I had to write a report about 'broken windows theory' in my psychology class. It was so well-known theme that I could easily get hold of information(불가산명사) about this theory on the internet. For the report, I found a lot of information(불가산명사) on the internet especially on Wikipedia(고유명사 대문자), but I got a low grade from the professor. I asked him why and he answered me that what I wrote in my report is a misconception of the theory. He added that when writing a report, I would better go to the library and refer some books and thesis instead of the internet. I found out that it is risky to rely only on the internet.
On the top of that, studying through books makes it easier to memorize and recall information(불가산명사). (오프토픽입니다. 이 글은 인터넷을 통한 학습의 장점/단점에 대해서 묻고 있는 것이지 책의 우수성에 대해서 묻고 있는 글이 아닙니다.) I admit that it is convenient and time-saving to study through the internet. However, despite those advantages of studying via the internet, I believe that the advantages of studying with books far outweigh the advantages of the internet concerning memorization. It is much easier to recall what you have studied with books than things you have studied through the internet. There was a survey conducted by a group of education majors in Korea University, with 200 university students as respondents. The purpose of the survey was to understand the view of students' preference in the study tool. (학생들의 선호가 근거가 된다기 보다는 말씀하신 근거를 유지하려면 학생들의 학습 효과를 측정했더니 더 컷다는 식의 자료가 필요합니다) The result was intriguing that overwhelming 80% responded that they prefer to study with books rather than to study with the internet. The reason was that reading lots of information on the internet on screen makes their eye tired and its readability affects their memorization of information(불가산명사). Also, they added that underlining on the critical information in the book helps them to remember them better.
Taking the credence of information(불가산명사) and one's ability to retain what they have studied into consideration, the internet is not the best method for one to utilize in academic performance.
