Various
opinions may exist over the argument that it is easier to achieve success
without your family’s help nowadays than in the past. As far as I am concerned,
I am in complete disagreement with the argument. The two ideas started below
can be valid evidence to support my view.
First and foremost, learning how to form strong
bonds within a family shows outstanding effectiveness in improving one’s social
skills necessary for success. Unlike the past, modern society admittedly
requires people to surpass others both in specialty and sociability. To be more
specific, interpersonal relationships and social skills are necessary
requirements for any successful person.
Therefore, given the need for collaboration in any places today, learning
how to form strong bonds within a family clearly is more vital in building a
more promising future because it provides people with the perfect opportunities
to form good relationships with other people. Therefore, it is difficult to
achieve success without family’s help even today. Research conducted by a
renowned professor named Sam Adams from Michigan University indicates that
people who were taught to build good relationships with others attain the goal
of making many friends had having strong emotional bonds with them in a more effectual
way whereas having the same accomplishments is somewhat difficult for people
didn’t have chance to learn how to form strong bonds. Likewise, his research
proves that my argument that it is difficult to achieve success without family’s
help even today is convincing.
In addition, advice from family members,
especially that from elders, can usher people into the right direction by
teaching them precious life lessons and the true value of life. Some people
today are immature to have thorough understanding of life and are likely to
become incapable of coping with problems at pivotal moments of their lives. At
such times, getting advice from family members offers chances for mental
maturation and enlightens them about important values so that they can become a
better person. Therefore, without family’s
help, one can hardly succeed. According to a private survey conducted by Seoul
National University of Korea, an anonymous surveyed respondent answered that he
was strongly help by advice from family members, especially that from elders.
He also responded that if it had not been for their suggestions, he might not
have known what to pursue in life.
To sum
up, I believe my explanations above sufficiently prove the importance of family’s
help on the road to success. Obviously, the significance of improving one’s
social skills necessary for success and precious life lessons and the true
value of life cannot be overemphasized enough.
