An intriguing topic of discussion at hand is whether
speaking well is more important than writing well. The answer to this question
can vary greatly depending on the individual perspectives. Thus, the
jury may still be out, but as far as I am concerned, I agree with the statement
(Is the statement for speaking or for writing? Make it
clear.). In this essay, I will present two reasons supporting my
standpoint as follows.
Firstly, speaking is more frequent in daily lives. We
talk to people with not (without) writing but
speaking and express our thought with speaking. If I can’t speak, I
will be stuck in discomfort and have difficulty enjoying the other aspects of
my life. To illustrate, my friend have
(who has) disability with his ears find himself
always stressed out because he can’t communicate with people. He said (to) me that he was hard to get a job because
companies prefer people who communicate well. His writing ability is absolutely
outstanding but (as) he has difficulty
communicating with people, he has gone through hard times.
The other reason is that people who have great
speaking ability is easy to succeed. This is due to the fact (be careful with
this word, as people can sometimes be strict with what can be fact and what
cannot be.) that we all like people with great communication skills.
When we talk (to) each other, we prefer people
who speak well and are likely to be impressed with him. For example, Roosevelt (if it’s the former president, write President Roosevelt or
Franklin D. Roosevelt) fascinated people with his good speaking skills.
He could succeed due to his speaking ability. There is no doubt that people
with good speaking skills have more chance to manage successful lives.
In conclusion, I strongly argue for my standpoint on
account of the two reasons mentioned above. Once again, although the verdict
may still be out, I personally believe that two of my rationales above are
sufficiently convincing enough to represent the viewpoints of a majority of
people who are in favor of my claim.
(It's a well written essay, overall. You don't need to sweat.)
