There is an
argument over whether games can teach us precious lessons about life. Some
people believe that games enable people to
give lessons as they (it makes people) think about cyberspace as their
alternative reality. My view, however, is that games are detrimental to people.
This is largely because games cause people to act aggressively. Furthermore,
games can leads to people’s addictives
(can be addictive).
To begin with,
games make people do aggressively.
On the cyberspace, People are replaced to
(find their alter ego in) characters. In this sense (case),
people act like violently and do not responsible (without
any responsibility) for their behavior. Also,
they can learn about a sense of cruelty.
(cruelty = aggressiveness) And therefore, people’s behavior gradually changes aggressive, which transport the reality. (transport the reality?) According to the experiment
conducted by a group of researcher(s) at Harvard University, those who have
more time to do (playing) games reveal(ed)
that they are likely to play a higher
(display more) aggressive behavior than those
who have not. As the study provides (shows), it is a well known fact that games are prone
to cause people’s barbarism (addictive behaviors).
Moreover, the one of the best
(most noticeable) property(ies) of games is severe addictives(ness). When people play games, they chat with their
friends or some people and play together. Because of this characteristic,
people waste a great deal of time monitoring their games. Regarding to the paper reported by a Chinese paper
“dung-zao New” (This is definitely a wrong name.),
A man continuously played games for 45 times. Eventually, he died due to
malnutrition and shortage of water. As the report shows, addictive of (addiction
to) game is so powerful that people are distracted from the reality.
(This
paragraph is not clear. Concentrate on one point ONLY and write about it,
instead of writing about the chat in game, research citation, and death of a
gamer without clear connections.)
In (To) summarize,
games cannot teach us valuable lessons about life. Of course, we learn about a
sense of teamwork, but games caused people unnecessary conflicts. In this
respect, adverse effects of games far outweigh positive effects of those.
Considering a resource of aggression and addictive, people should stop playing
games.
