▶ Your Answer : While most of people are born in average family, some people are just born in a family with substantilly amount of money, therefore, there are no need for them to work hard. Some people may argue that people who don't work as they already have enough money will not be very happy since they don't have opportinity to feel sense of achievement. However, I strongly disagree with this opinion for two reasons. One is because people with money and time can travel and they can also enjoy their hobbies with close freinds or family.
First of all, as most people work most of the time, it's difficult for them to find time to travel and even if they do have time, travelling cost a fortune. Additionally, people with jobs don't tend to enjoy the trip as much as people without career because people with jobs constantly consider finaltial limits and not able to stop thinking about their works. Traveling overseas is very important since it helps to relieve stress and give oppotunity to learn other cultures. When people travel, they can enjoy the trip without having to worry about their problems back at home, while enjoying foreign cities and scenic views. Furthermore, visiting other countries provides first hand experience of other culture and learning them is fulfilling which leads to happiness. To be specific, my friend's parent was quite rich, he spent most of his time travelling even after graduation. On the other hand, I immidiately got a job and had to work most of the time. I had no finantial resources or time for a trip but my friend's situation was directly opposite. He visited Europe, Canada, America and Mexico during his free time while I was stressed out from working really hard. He told me about all of beauiful places and exotic cultures, and said it was one of best experience of his life. If I had enough money and time for such an experience, I would be more happier.
Secondly, having more time allows people to spend more time while doing things they love. People don't get to choose their co-workers and sometimes, they just have to work with someone who frustrates them. However, if there is no need for people to work, they can simply spend time with enjoyable people who they can have great time with. Also, they can enjoy their hobbies instead of doing same things at same place everyday. This can also be seen in my friend's case. Since he has so much free time, he had more opportunities to hang out with his friends or meet new people. He was able to strengthen his social relationships. While he was having conversation with his close freinds, he could talk about anything they want as he was wiht his trustful friends. However, I was mostly stuck with my co workers who had nothing in common and didn't really share any personal issues.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that not having to work makes people happier than those who do since it provides more opportunity to travel and hang out with close friends. |
