▶ Your Answer :
There is an argument whether experiences
looks bad at the time become valuable lessons for the future. Some people may
think that good experience is always good. My view, However, is that experience
seemingly bad is helpful to realize the lessons for the two reasons. First,
experience looks unfortunate give valuable help to deal with similar difficult
time. Second, difficult experience is the best way to obtain lessons in our
lives.
To begin with, experience in our lives that
seemed difficult give invaluable knowledge to solve similar problems for the
future. Of course, these days, knowledge and answers for the problem we faces
can be accessible in the internet or library. However, it is limited to
indirect and experience not difficult enough. Although people know the answer
or know-how about the problems they have, they have tendency to deal with the
problem as the method they think instantly. To be specific, back in the college
student, I had very difficult time in doing research new upcoming field. The field
is related to "Human Computation". At that time, there was no people
to give me some valuable advices. Although I knew the knowledge of method of
research and study, every time I faced the problem, I did same mistakes.
Fortunately, after several months, I became an expert about doing research
because I had demanding time about that and got significant lessons.
Second, challenging experience is the best
way to obtain messages in our lives. Books, The internet and wise people are
the source of getting lessons in general. However, it is confined that those
lessons are usually hard to be memorized perfectly because of its’ amount. This
is because that although people know the content of lessons, those lessons are
hard to be applicable in real life. Therefore, people tend to regard those
lessons are not valuable enough in their lives. The study conducted from
Harvard University shows that people think messages from demanding experience
is more valuable than those from easy experiences including reading books. The
study also states that people who had difficult experience tend to regard the
lessons from the experience as invaluable to avoid having same experience. In
this regards, lessons from difficult experience can be considered as
invaluable.
To sum up, I agree that difficult
experience give people invaluable lessons for the future for the two reasons
that I have mentioned above. First, those lesson help people to solve similar
problem for the future. Second, those lessons are usually regarded as invaluable
to avoid the same difficult experience. |
