In today`s society, it is widely
believed that the employment of inexperienced workers at a lower salary is much
better for companies. Some people advocate, however, I disagree with this view.
I firmly believe that the employment of experienced workers has a lot of
advantages for companies. This is because first, companies have to waste too
much financial resources training inexperienced workers, second experienced
workers have already had ample social skills, so it cause them to concentrate
on their job better.
First of all, In order to put
inexperienced workers into the real work places, a lot of financial resources
and time are needed to educate them. Even though their salary is relatively
low, the total financial resource for their education will be a great expense. In
addition, during the education period, they don`t contribute income of their
company, which is very a serious problem for companies. As a result, the employment of inexperienced workers may cause
some company`s financial problems. On the other hand, experienced workers are
able to contribute company revenue greatly as soon as they are employed.
Therefore, it is very clear that the employment of inexperienced workers has a
lot of disadvantages.
Second, experienced workers are
likely to better make a good relationship with other co-workers because they
have already known how to socialize with other colleagues. Maintaining a good
relationship is important for not only workers but also their company. This is because
people who have a good personal relationship at a company tend to relieve
mental stress easily and satisfy their current jobs, which as a result allows
them to better focus on their work and to contribute the income of company.
According to study done by New York Times, a study was conducted in two
companies. “A” company only hired workers without experiences; on the other
hand, “B” company employed experienced workers. Inexperienced workers at “A”
company soon found that the difficulty of maintaining relationship because they
didn`t know how to socialized with other people in the real world. So, they
started getting stressed and dissatisfying their job, and finally they had to
quit the company. Through this study, it is very obvious that the employment of
experienced works is much better.
All
things considered, it is my belief that my argument regarding this topic has
been effectively and precisely delivered with the reasons mentioned above.
