There has been an ongoing debate over the issue that whether it is better for university students to first get a general education,by taking classes in many fields, than it is for them or to take classes only in their field of study. I agree with the former stance because of two reasons: it helps you ("you"라는 대명사는 너무 구어체처럼 들릴 수 있기 때문에 최대한 삼가해주세요) improve creativity and know understand one's aptitude.
First of all, I think that studying a variety of fields allows students to foster their creativity. Moreover, it connected success in one's life because comprehending various fields of knowledges is are important to becoming successful success For instance, Steve Jobs. a former who was an CEO of Apple company, studied graphonomy, which was not his major, that was significant base to his early success. This experience had established a significant basis to his early success
Secondly, it is good to discover one's aptitude find whose aptitude. Every students wants to have a well-fitted job well-fitted with him but this it is very difficult to find his aptitude even he already determined his major in university. By studying a variety of fields, one can find out his true interest and talent. Through the studying variously, you can know what is you like and what is you do well. For example, in my case, when I was a university student, my major was Business Management management. However, my computer class, an elective course, has encouraged me to change my major to Computer Science. And this change has made me happy. One day, I was in a computer class, an elective course, and it was a huge stimulus for me to change my major to computer science makes me happy. Finally, I am a computer programmer now.
To sum up, everyone may hold a different position on this issue. But in my case, all things considered, I firmly believe that it is better to study in many fields in university.
