First of all, we can save money by eating homemade food. If your budget is tight, you would save your money as far as possible by shopping economical way. However, the minimal price of outside food is higher than that of homemade food. For example, my friend Lee ate his meals almost outside of the home when his first year of the university. During the year, he usually told me that he has no money even buying his text book. So he had to find part-time jod to make up his problem. However, when he decided to eat at home after the year, his economical condition became better not to work on part-time jod and concentrate on his study. Moreover, we can know sources of home-made food and do not need to worry about the origin of the food. On the other hands, although some of origin of the food materials are opened, we cannot know all the origin of materials the restaurant use. In other words, we are exposed to some portion of risks. In fact, after the Korea government ordered restaurants to open source of main foods materials in 2000, customers could have known some sources of the food material and they were relieved. Nevertheless, when the government censored some of restaurants in 2010, it has been known that a number of stores had cheated the origin of foods. In short, customers are in weak position and have no choice but to believe restaurants to know information of food which they eat. |
