Some people think that the advantages of paying public transportation fees to citizens far outweigh the disadvantages. However, in my opinion, the average people have not charge to public transfer fees for two reasons: to enhance responsibilities and to resolve the environmental problems.
To begin with, unencumbered for paying transportation fees allows people to improve a sense of responsibility in their workplace. In fact, if it were for mass transit fees, most of the people would choose their own car over public transportation. After that, many drivers on the road give rise to traffic congestions, especially during the rush hours. Consequently, this situation will have no choice but to accept a lots of lazy employees. As for many companies, these are not happy news. This is because jobs require responsibilities such as arriving at work on time, managing their schedules wisely, meeting deadlines, observing work regulations and throughly completing assignments. Moreover, according to a study conducted by Seoul National University of Korea in 2008, employees who work do better academically than their peers who do not work because they know how to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities and can consequently manage their time well. On the whole, ordinary people who utilize free mass transportation fees are more mature and better equipped to succeed than their non-using peers. These benefits extend far outside the workplace. The studies showed that free transportation fees makes people use public transit numerous time and it also make employees diligent worker in the office.
On top of that, repairing the environment will prevent the loss of many lives through non-paying transportation fees. This is because the free-transit permit people to decline traffic jams, and it is beneficial to reduce serious smoke pollution. It is a well-known fact that much of the world lacks clean freshing atmosphere, and this is polluted air is responsible for a huge number of sickness and deaths worldwide. According to UNICEF, 4,000 children die every day because they don’t have hygiene breathing air. The same organization estimate that 2.6 billion of the goal population do not have proper sanitation. By increasing funding for environmental agencies, we can clean up the world’s atmosphere sources so that people will have air that is safe to breath. By doing this, we can avoid millions of preventable deaths. What’s more, because fewer people will get sick from respiration bad polluted gas, health costs will decrease as well.
To sum up, citizens benefit more from free of charging public transportation fines than paying public those of fees. This is attributed to the fact that it is capable of developing a sense of responsibility and keeping environmental’s health. In this regard, I strongly disagree with the statement that citizens should not have to pay public transportation fees for the reasons I mentioned above. |
