It is more important to keep your old friends than it is to make new friends
Each person has his or her own preferencce according to each character. Some people say that it is more enjoyable to make new friends through all their life. However, I firmly believe that keeping old friends is more precious than that making new friends. For onre thing, old friends are more frank to comment commet or give an advice than new friends. In addiion, if we need help, usually, old friends help us rather than new friends.
To begin with, new friends tend to be hypocrite and affected in terms of a relationship. In other words, old friends are sincerer more sincere and frank franker than new friends. For example, usually, most of people that have ever experienced fraud or trickery confess that they believed that liars liers or cheaters were their new friends. According to a psychological statistics, more than 70% of new friends that people have met meet after a graduation do not have a serious serioud or important relationship with each other. This is because their friendship is made of superfical relations on various social aims and they do not have a confidence on each other on an arranged surface. At least, old friends do not try to either to make use of their friends or to cheat. Usually, new friends are often met in social or business relationships that pursue economical merits so that the depth of their relationship is not profound. Besides, they are opt to meet friends guided by self -interest. Therefore, this proves that old friends are really honesty and trusty because becausr they have known very well with each other.
On top of that, virtually, if people have a trouble, it is a common phenomenon that old friends friend help them. That is, their friendship is based on their old bond that does is not account accouont for an economical benefit since their childhood. When my father was on a the brink of bankruptcy, his old friends helped him to overcome this diffficult situation because they believed that he was an a innocent person and had a capability to rise again, reminiscing that when he was young, he helped his friends that were too poor to pay for threir tuition. Similarly, bosses and CEOs with management problems have got a help from their friends who were bankers or had a financial power since they sustained their old friendship well. This cooperation happens often in the old relationship. This means that friends in need is friends indeed and this strong fidelity does not come from the new relationship .
It is true that people tend to make their friends, followig their benefits in a modern society. This is a natural trend that people pursue economical profits, making a benefical relationship between friends. However, keeping old friendship is a good way of getting an everlasting psychological support as well as a financial help. Furthermore, had there not been old friends, we could not have got not only a loyal and earnest counsels but also ceaseless advice advices. Thus, I strongly assert that maintaning the good relationshop with old friends is more effective than making new friends.
