▶ Your Answer :
As time goes on, more countries are adopting the free trade system. Consequently more products from foreign nations are introduced and many people are buying them. It’s no strange that there are worries about the influx of the foreign products. Some people assert that buying products from their own nation is better than purchasing products from foreign countries. But I contend that the assertion is not true. We don’t have to buy domestic products all the time. It’s good to buy foreign products sometimes.
To begin with, because there are many good products from foreign countries, people can buy better things. Sometimes people can choose good products and ignore bad things. There are many foreign companies that produce great things. For instance, many workers have a lot of tasks that requires printing. So they have to use good printing paper and Double A is known as the best paper for printing of the world. Using other paper products will make the work harder because they makes jamming at the printer. But the important thing is that it is not a domestic product in most of the countries. If workers are prohibited to buy Double A by the thinking that people should buy domestic products, their work efficiency would get worse.
On top of that, some domestic companies can take advantage of the citizen. Because they know that customer from their own nation would buy their products regardless of their quality and service, they would not develop themselves. Sometimes they sell customer at high price and they’re not kind to them. For instance, Hyundai are known to sell many cars worldwide. But they sell their cars to their customer from same country at higher price than they sell them for other nations. In foreign countries, people can buy same products at lower price. The unfair thing happens because the company know that the customers from same nation would buy the products for the love of nation.
To sum up, it’s not good to buy domestic products only. Because there are also many good products from other countries and some companies can take advantage of the customer. In this regard, I disagree with the statement written above. |
