▶ Your Answer :
The television industry have improved during these years. The television first came
to the world in the 1950s. In this era, almost 90% of people jumped to the world of
television. [ref.1] My point is that I strongly agree with the following statement.
Watching television is bad for children. because of three reasons. First, their eye
sight may decrease. Second, children could not study very well because they just
keep thinking about the program he or she just have seen it. Third, TV shows
commercials that are bad for children like instant food, cigar, and beer.
First, their eye sight may decrease. Many children, especially young kids, watch within 50 centimeters. The main reason is that kids mentally think they could see better when they go closer. However, the TV are usually made up of many LED particles
sticked together. [ref.2] Because of this reason, if they go closer and look at the TV, they would probably see lots of dots and nonspecific image than seeing in the back.
Second, children could not study very well because they just keep thinking about the program he or she just have seen it. According to a research [ref.3] in 2011, when the kids see the television, the image of the television is captured, or stored in the place in the brain called SAMP8 and makes the hormone called DHEA. It means that if
they see the image and just don’t think about it, it will be forgotten, however, if they think more and more about the image, it settles in the brain and is hard to forget
it.
Third, TV shows commercials that are bad for children like instant food, cigar, and beer. These are the nasty things of modern programs. Also, unthinkable children
could try the same thing and may have serious problems in mental thinking and
health.
In a nutshell, I strongly agree with the following statement. Watching television is
bad for children. because of three reasons. First, their eye sight may decrease.
Second, children could not study very well because they just keep thinking about the program he or she just have seen it. Third, TV shows commercials that are bad for
children like instant food, cigar, and beer.
