▶ Your Answer : There are a lot of issues of the environment occur these days. Some people believe that individual cannot do anything by themselves because those issues are complicated. However, I disagree with the statement for subsequent two reasons. First and foremost, a recycling is the most thing that individual can do. One of the big problems in the environment is the pollution of the bunch of garbages. A recycling is the best effective way to get better about ground pollution, and it is only can be done by individuals. For example, when I was in Lebanon for travel, I found that there was no regulation of recycling. People throw away their trash without recycling and they were accumulated on some mountains causing bad smell and the pollution of earth. A few years later, I visited Lebanon again for work, I realized the city were so cleaned. People who wanted to clean their places encourage themselves to do recycling and it was efficient. On top of that, individual can reduce the emit of toxic gas by riding a bicycle or by walk. One of the other issues of the environment is air pollution, and it can be significantly reduced by the individual effort. For example, when I lived in Chuncheon, which is located in the Gangwon province of my country, many people suffer from air pollution. The development of the highway and road result in the exponentially increasing cars with drivers. To solve to problem, the government planned a variety ways, such as paving the bicycle road, but it did not bring the positive result. However, people who live the city made boom of bicycling and walking for the clean city and their health. As a result, the air pollution problem was solved automatically. In a nutshell, individuals are able to do something to solve the environmental issues. The recycling, the most effective way to prevent the earth pollution, is can be done by only individuals. Also, the air pollution can be reduced by individual effort. So I firmly believe that individuals are able to many thing on their own to solve the environmental issues.
