▶ Your Answer :
Opinions might be divided over whether team
work leads to better results than working alone. People from different walks
may take different stance on this contentious issue. Personally, I believe that
projects with cooperation would be much better than individual's ability, and
there are two reasons that could validate my position.
To start off, working with others helps to
make an opportunity to solve the problem which is hard for oneself to handle
with. As society advances, people require more complex and elaborated procedure
to take the prestigious stance. In this sense, various talents are needed to
apply each part of the project. To illustrate, when I was a student in the
college, there was a chance to take part in the presentation competition.
Actually, I was an introvert; it did not make sense to win the presentation by
myself. However, I had scouted few talented students among my classmates for
winning the presentation. With cooperation with my team members, we finally won
the presentation. If I had participated in the competition by myself, this
result would have not had been presented. Consequently, it is very important to
utilize other people's talent which I have not for achieving the goal.
On top of that, cooperation makes people
save their time and physical activities. By working together for the work, it
would be divided to tiny piece of work compared to whole work. This helps
people not to be stressed out of their work and have time to have more
attention to the details of the work. The study conducted by the University of
California revealed that working with others has much economic effects than
working alone. According to the study, self-employed individuals have 10% low
income than working with other people. This is because working together makes
people be more efficient and economic person.
In conclusion, not only does team work save
time and energy, but also increases the possibility to solve the problem.
Therefore, I firmly believe that it is much better to work with others than
work alone. |
