▶ Your Answer :As
technology development have been accelerated I the last decade, diverse
electronics have been released at the ever fastest rate. Consequently, we
occasionally have to decide whether we are going to buy technological devices
earlier than others or not. On this issue, I believe that waiting until many
people have bought the devices is better for the following reasons. To
begin with, some products many have defects in the stage at the launch, and
these cannot be easily detected by the providers. This is because of the
increased complexity of the present electronic devices. While the devices
possess an array of functions, they can suffer unexpected disorder due to the
too complicated mechanical conformation. However, some public reviewers assess
whole aspects of the products and upload posts and articles about all these on
the internet. We can refer to these posts when we decide to buy some devices.
For example, when Samsung released Galaxy S6, I merely waited until some
reviewers purchase the phone. Few days later, I saw a post in which a reviewer
describe on the malfunction of Galaxy S6. As referring to the post, the cell
phone was easily overheated, and the product had danger to be possibly
exploded. I felt unrest for the news; but simultaneously I relieve for the fact
that I did not buy the phone. It implies that buying an electronic device after
others purchase it is safer than buying without referring to any reviews.
Furthermore,
some companies time to time release the next brand line with more reasonable
price and improved functions soon after the current release. Of many marketing
strategies, the recently issued one in the electronics market is to sell a more
favorable product line right after another device is released to the market.
With referring to researches, consumers could buy the all both devices in time.
For this reason, many companies have utilized this marketing strategy in
practice. For example, Samsung has occasionally taken this method in these
days. The apparent case was of Galaxy note 5; it was released at the following
moment when the Galaxy S5 phone was launched in the market. Many people had
bought both products at a small time interval due to eagerness to upgrade their
own phone. It implies that we need carefully to monitor the transitory products
and to wait for the next improved product line.
To
sum up, I believe that to be an early bird in the technological device market
is too risky. We need properly to wait many people buy some electronics. As
such, we can avoid from being a victim of companies’ marketing strategies and
buying a defective product as I mentioned above. |
