When it comes to the information by the
internet, people share different perspectives. Some people might say that too
much information made by the internet attracts problems. As far as I am
concerned, I contend that there is much more valuable information than problems
throughout the internet.
To
begin with, people can get more accurate information by the internet. Some
people can insist that information made by internet is not believable, but I
argue, in effect, that the information is more reliable than that of newspapers
or books, because the information by the internet can be corrected by many
other people. To be specific, online encyclopedias offer plentiful information
and the contents in the encyclopedias can be corrected by everyone. However, it
is difficult to correct the contents of paper encyclopedias, so in the past,
people believed that the encyclopedias or professionals always give people
accurate information. People these days know the fact that information always
can change and there is no unchangeably right information by the experience of
online encyclopedias.
Furthermore, people can not be used by
government or politicians. Before the internet is developed and information by
the internet predominates, it is easy that politicians make people stupid by
making them only see fabricated information. For instance, South Korean likes
watching a baseball game and the reason why they like watching that is that in
1990s, president of South Korea was dictator for 18 years and he stimulated
that people liked watching sports because he needed to distract people's
interest to other things from politics. In 2012, his daughter became a
president, she wanted to be a president like her father, but by virtue of the
development of the internet, Korean can discern what is the right information, and
eventually she was impeached.
