▶ Your Answer : A large number of people might argue that playing sports or eating good food is a good way to relax. Contrary to popular belief, I think that managing my stress level is the most important thing to relax for the following reasons. First of all, a high level of stress can lead a unhealthy life. To be specific people can live successfully by managing their stress, maintaining health and building a better quality of life. Stress is the main cause of disease and dissatisfying life. Therefore, people in modern society should actively find ways to reduce stress and stay healthy, For instance, according to a study conducted by Seoul National University of Korea in 2010, a test on mice showed that life span was shorted when they regularly underwent a series of electric shocks. The mice that were continuously under a high level of stress showed sign of deteriorating body conditions. This implies that there is a possibility for us to gain diseases through stressful life. In addition, people should not play sports to avoid adding pressure on their already busy schedule. It is obvious that, playing sport consumes a lot of energy and time, which makes people tired and inefficient. Many people today are busy with their life full of tasks, obligations, projects and responsibilities. They can successfully multitask and stay focused at the same time only if they keep a balance in their daily lives. To illustrate, Hillary Clington, who is a renowned American politician, has made great accomplishments in her lifetime. I read online that she learned to manage a tight schedule and prioritize important matters. She did this by always trying to find a balance between work and play. Therefore this shows that people should control their tight schedules in order to effectively manage their lives. In conclusion, I firmly believe that managing our stress is a good way to relax for the reasons I have mentioned above. All in all, the importance of controlling our stress level cannot be underestimated in order to improve the quality of life. |
