▶ Your Answer : Various opinions may exist over which factor is the most influential on our longer life. With respect to this subject, Many people are liable to think that our improvement of diets or education systems are major key for extended life span. However, from another point of view, high technology could be more likely to have more advantages over other reasons in many ways. I also agree with this idea with some certainty for the following two reasons. To begin with, unlike in the past, we can attain a lot of information about health through the internet. In other word, there are many valuable medical resources available to general people without going hospitals. For instance, the internet helps us take professional comments from a doctor in Youtube. This phenomenon is not likely to be considered as common things in the past. There was a poll conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare with 500 patients suffering from certain cancer as respondents. The purpose of this survey was to ascertain how they got medical knowledge after noticing their own dismal circumstances An overwhelming 80 percent had responded that they took a lot of benefits for treating cancer with searching the internet. It goes to show that many people with diseases are largely reliant upon the medical therapy given by the internet, feeling a positive effect from it On top of that, high-end medical instruments also make people live longer. The development of medical systems and skills allow people to be taken care effectively, and it is easy to reach the state-of-the-art medical treatments. Therefore, illness, in contrast to the past, will become more easily dealt with by advanced technologies. To explain this, I will illustrate my experience as an example. When I was a college student, I got heart attack during Physics class. I opened my eyes in the hospital and heard stories about that accident. According to my mother's saying, since the ambulance came to the college swiftly, I had more chances to have emergency treatment by a doctor. I appreciated the well-organized system for emergency people. Had it not been for the today's medical system, I could not have enjoyed my life after that day. This corroborates with the aforementioned idea that the first-line technology have people live more than ever before. In a nutshell, It hardly comes to the convincing conclusion everyone agrees with. That being said, taking the two reasons described above into consideration, It is clear-cut that improvement of medical system and technologies have great influences on our long life-expectancy.
