When As mass media has been was developed, many different of advertisements have been developed as well together. At first time, Initially, many companies only showed to customers the general information about their products. But nowadays, it has change more was getting more change as a sensational sensation to attract customers. As a result, advertising brings about various side effects such as exaggerated advertisements and distorted advertisements. Thus, I agree with this statement that most advertisement make products seem much better.
To begin with, keen competition between many of companies causes exaggerated advertisements and distorted advertisements. Nowadays, too much products with new and novel idea items comes up in everyday. And consumers don’t know are not well aware of what products are good or not but only can get information via the advertising ads such as a TV, newspapers, a magazines. As a result, many companies had have to cover more (seems better their products)????? than original to attract customers. In addition, some companies are were trying to spread false information. For instance, in my country, Korea, some cosmetic company advertised a whitening cream as a functional product with a high price, but, it was exposed to be it was false.
Furthermore, ordinary ads a normal advertising cannot attract customers since people are already used to sensational ads. Many different of concepts of advertisement are flooded pouring out to lead consumers, some advertising ads may stir people’s emotion with family’s warm story and some advertising may compare with their competitive company’s products. As a result, when people watch the ad advertising, some people may cry by the sad story of advertisements. And people’s heart will be moved by the products of advertising to buy it. As we can see, most of companies are inevitable to make sensational factors more and more to lead consumers’ heart. This phenomenon brings out exaggerated advertisements and distorted advertisements.
As mentions above, since we have a too many different of products in the world, consumers are confused and deceived by exaggerated advertisements and distorted advertisements. Thus, I firmly believe that most advertisements make products seem much better to attract consumers.
