There might be some people who assent that it is helpful for teachers to express their personal views on political or social problems to their students. However, I do not agree with that because the frequent expression of teachers about their own views can prevent students from advancing creative ability and is not their basic mission. The paragraph below gives you why I fell this way.
First, I think a word of teacher can give decisive effect be a decisive factor to the behavior or point of view for students. When I was a high school student, there was a teacher who was extremely interested in world economy, while his charging subject is was “Korean Language.” We . used to spend a huge portion of our regular hours by listening to his notions regarding economic policies and their problems. As a result, many of us started to posses his perspective of the world regardless of our own intention. It is needless to say that those students are very unhappy , assuming they will go on living without their own creative perspectives on economy.
In addition, one of the fundamental duties for teacher is not injecting their own point or view, but to transfer their knowledge and provide the direction of a certain way that students have to find by themselves in the future. To accomplish this, teacher should take advantage of the regular class time fully. Therefore, the teachers who speak out highly personal views in the assigned class time should be considered as they must not be either either not eligible for the current teaching job or abusing their fundamental duties.
In conclusion, most of teachers in the world today spend their time teaching students trying their best. If there are some teachers who waste regular class time by injecting their private thought to their student during regular class, they have to stop that because they are giving away so much valuable time to students in the air. Also, they should perceive that their subjective and repetitive talks can excessively affect the creation of student’s own thought in the future.
