Nowadays, people have less interaction with their friends and relatives because they are living in the 21 century of hectic world. Even though whether people prefer hanging out with friends or staying at home alone depends on one's personality, I strongly recommend people to go out with friends. Being with friends is fun and it develops social skills.
First of all, hanging out with friends conveys the feeling of happiness and belonging. The time spent together including going to the movies, celebrating the birthdays and sharing personal stories is mood lifting, brings laughter and unforgettable memories. On the other hand, not only sharing the jovial time but supporting each other when one's going through hardships can be helpful and diminish the one's burden. Fortunately, I have few close friends I usually hang out with. Whenever I recall the memories with them, I cannot do anything but smile. It would be a pity if someone does not have a pleasant memory to recall that cannot stop smiling.
Moreover, since spending time with friends cannot be always peaceful but sometimes dramatic with conflicts and misunderstanding, people can develop social skills of how to form an interpersonal relationship. Dealing with friends who have different qualities and opinions can enhance one’s perspectives. To illustrate, I have a school friend named Jessie. She is stubborn and straightforward when expressing her opinion; thus often be mirrored by others as a cold-hearted and mean person. Once I held the same thought as everyone else, however, through spending time with her, I learnt that she is not a notorious person of malice personality but the person with a strong unique character. As a result, I am now capable of handling opposed opinions and respecting others’ various personalities.
In conclusion, times with friends endow with the vivid memories of having fun and supporting each other. Also, they are the perfect and the easiest way of broadening one’s view and maturity when interacting with others. |
