According to lecturer, he says that the problems of graded school system. To start with, graded school system does not take account of each student's academic rediness. For instance, many six-year old children hace many differences phusically and mentally. They are never same but this system forced children to learn same material in the same group.
Moreover, young boys and girls show significant difference. However, they grouped into same intermidiate level. On the top of that, he sustains that the whole issue of promotion should be review. That's why the grade level evaluation does not reflect actual learning degree. So when students failed in promotion, they might feel boredom.
Eventually it causes higher dropout rate. In addition, group expectation used in evaluation can not evaluate individual's ability. In other words, the differnece of each student are never considred.
Lastly, undeveloped student have to repeat the material they already know and the student who learn fast have to wait for new material. So it is not ideal system..
