▶ Your Answer :
When it comes to the choice among learning by experiencing, reading, and listening about things, quite a few prefer experiencing things directly and listening to people say about things over reading about things, because they can see that under circumstances, choose to learning by experiencing about things and listening to people has more advantages than reading about things. After thorough consideration, however, I would pick learning by reading about things for the following reasons.
First of all, people can easily attain a variety of information from reading. In general, people say that learning by reading about things is inefficient to study fast because it is rather time-consuming to read about things. However, I think that it is useful for people who want to research a lot of information at first. For example, when I was in University, I used to prepare to study in the Unite States as a exchange student, so I needed much information in terms of the Unite States such as custom, food, and culture, then I could find a lot of information from books. Therefore, learning by reading about things is beneficial for people to get a variety of information.
Moreover, people can learn about things from many contents at no cost. As a rule, people think that they have to buy something to read about things. However, people can easily learn about things from a public library, internet sites, and journals. For instance, when I need to learn important knowledge in my major, and then I go to University's library and go through books about it, and solve easily problems in there, library is a perfect place. Accordingly, people can easily attain what they want to know in many contents at no cost.
In conclusion, the advantages of learning by reading about things outweigh those of learning by doing things and listening to people because not only reading about things can easily give people a variety of information, but also many contents at no cost. |
