Recently, movies have become a largely accepted activity amongst many people. Along with this trend, it has been a contentious issue as to whether or not there is too much violence in movies. Thoroughly analyzing relevant examples of my observation and my friend's case, it becomes quite clear that there is too much violence in movies.
First of all, my personal observation based on empirical evidence, serves as an excellent example which delves into the issue of violence in movies. Having a father with an occupation as a film director, I have certainly come across far more movies than most people of my age. And, it is quite needless to say that violence scenes are one of the most exciting and adventurous parts of the movie. In fact, this undeniable fact has led film-makers to produce movies with a high level of violence. Truly, this will attract much more people. Therefore, movies often offer a inappropriate level of violence.
Moreover, my friend's case is also another successful example to support my assertion. My friend's father was a policemen, so she was well aware of the certain precedures of the police force. One day, we went to watch a movie, and if my memory serves me right was called 'The Force'. The story dealt with the issue of the police trying to capture a ganster. It contained many violent scenes and I found it extremely interesting and fun. However, my friend was unpleased with the amount of exaggeration in the scenes. The part where the police force delt with the issue of capturing the gangster was enriched with amplified with guns, bombs and other equipments. Truly, my friend percieved high level of violence and was extremely dissatisfied with the difference between the movie and reality. In short, the movie provides exaggerated violence.
In conclusion, we have seen the high level of violence in movies. Both my close examination of observation and my friends case tells us so. However, we must not take this opinion to the extreme as some violence conveyed are for real. Therefore, the answer should be then is to watch movies with a certain conception of exaggeration in violence.
