I think that in movies a country appears very little. Here are some reasons why I think so.
First, commonly, a movie is a story about a person not a country, so movie makers concentrate on that character. Althogh a movie shows about a country, the part of the movie is very tiny , because that is not their interest, and what they want to tell. And their consumers don't have interest on about a country. Therefore, they don't have any reason to tell a lot about a country. I know some movies picture a county to show its solemnity or something like that, but there are just few movies.
Second, in movies, there are just a few dramatic tools about countries that express situations. For example, lately, some movies choose North Korea as an enemy in order to express a dynamic scenes so that people can feel very thrill and dreadful. However, it does not tell so much about a country. Directors just use a country's situations or environment as important elements of movies.
For these reason, I don't believe that movies can show a lot about country. |
