Some people say that people get more information from their classmates than their teachers; however others may disagree to this. Although each has its own advantages and disadvantages, I think that listen to by teachers are better. The reason is that they can motivate and encourage students, also they are experts in their fields.
To begin with, teachers can encourage and give motivation to their students when they are suffering hardship. Due to they have been lived more than my age and experienced a lot, they might have solutions for us. Coming from my personal experience, I was extremely exhausted from getting a job after I graduated. To get a word of advice from professor who I admired most at my university, I met professor Kim who teached my major course biology. Hearing my worries, he told me to view my life widely that I might have hard time right now, but it will be alright soon. Finally, thanks to my professor's advice, I could get a job which I wanted.
In addition, teachers are experts in their fields. It can be unsure if you ask something you don't know about to your classmates. Unlike this, it can be belivable from professors answers. To take my sister for instance, when she was junior year at university, she had a lot of questions about biology. Since my sister and I was in same line majors, we usually studied together. My sister, however, always wanted to know about biology in unknown information. She always asked about biology to professor that we don't know well about. Professor, however, answered her questions clearly to understand easily with great smile and she always told me he helped a lot about her studying.
To sum up, although students can learn from thier friends, teach by teachers are better. This is because students can be given advice from teachers and they are professional in thier era. It is evident that learning from theachers are much better than from friends.
