▶ Your Answer :
An intriguing topic of discussion at hands
is whether students are influenced more by their friends that by their
teachers. The answer to this question can vary greatly depending on individual
perspectives. Thus, the jury may still be out, but as far as I am concerned, I
agree with the statement, in this essay, I will present two reasons supporting
my standpoint as follows.
First of all, In
Korea, the status of teachers goes significantly down thesedays. This is
because most teachers cannot follow the new generation thinking. Although
strict manners are prevelent in education system, young students in their ten require
themselves to acquire open and free mind, thinking from teachers. However,
teachers do not admit the students’ view. According to a recent report by the
National Reseach Center of Korea, students today have a distrust to their
teachers who make students discouraged because of a low score in exam. Teachers
always stress not about indiviodual perspectives but about academic
performances. In this sense, it is evident that students are apt to have a
negative standpoint about their teachers, it followed that it is hard to say
students are influenced by their teachers considerably.
Also, most
students are together with their friends more than their teachers. The
underlying cause lies in the fact that teachers do not have the luxury of the
time to care all students they teach. Take my high school years as
illustration. When I am a boy scouts members, as a team I participated in SCC(Science&Invention
Competition). My friends, teahcer, Kap su Lee and I made a team named superb
science, for winning, we strived for fabricating creative invention. In the
course of ready for the competition, not having enough time, teacher gave us a
short advice that was not useful sincerely. Although it is hard to make a
unique invention, we did our best, as a result, could win in the competition.
Through the competiton, I could be able to widen my perspectives and social
network. After that, whenever we have a time, by meeting regulary, we relieve
our stress from a heavy lord of school works.
In conclusion, I
strongly argue for my standpoint on account of the two reasons mentioned above.
Once agatin, although the verdict may still be out, I personally believe that
two of my rationales above are sufficiently convincing enough to represent the
viewpoints of a majority of people who are in favor of my claim. |
