Some people like to do only what they already do well. Other people prefer to try new things and take risks. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion. |
Some people try to do only what they are really good at. They do not even try to learn new knowledge or skills. In contrast I prefer to try new things even though it is harder and more risky rather than doing only what I do well. In this essay, I will illustrate two reasons why I prefer to learn new things. Firstly, learning new things is a good experience. When I do only what I am good at, my life will be boring and simple. By learning new things, I can under go new situations that I never experienced. For example, when I learned how to play soccer for the first time and won the first prize in school’s soccer contest, I can be proud of myself and it becomes a good experience to me. It can also influence rest of my life. For instance, by having the experience of being successful to learn the new thing, soccer, I might be self-confident and often try new things in the future. Secondly, by learning new things I develop myself. If I just do only what I do well, I might stay in just one place forever. However, when I try new things, my knowledge and skills will get wider and more developed. Moreover, things that I learned newly can upgrade the knowledge or skills that I already had. For example, in the case of learning how to run fast, I can develop my skill of playing soccer. In conclusion, these are two reasons why I prefer to try new things instead of doing only what I am good at. Although doing only what I am good at is convenient, learning new things can be a good experience and I can develop myself. 점수 얼마정도 나올지요... 그리고 첨삭도.. |
