People will spend less time for cooking and preparing food in twenty years than they do today. (A,D) |
Thesedays, more and more people try to save time when they prepare for food. According to a recent study, for people in the future, there will be even pills which brings the same effect as ingesting a meal. I assume that there are some people who believe cooking will take more time in the future because there will be more food ingredients. On the other hand, food will be developed for saving time and people will spend more time on their other activities as they spend less time for cooking and preparing food.
To begin with, poeple want to save time when they cook. Many food companies have been trying to make their produdcts more convinient for people to cook and eat. For example, when I went to a store the other day, I found out that there were vegetables already washed in a plastic bag so people do not have to waste time on washing them. Moreover, any kinds of finished food products can be found in every markets and they have been increasing greatly. Today, most people are no longer spending much time for cooking and do not have to worry about preparing for food. Therefore, companies will produce finished products for people's convinient.
In addition, people will focus on activities and their leisure time as food preparing is being convinient. They will have more time for themsleves such as sports, reading a book, shopping, and any other activities. For instance, with saving time to pick food ingredients in a store for dinner, my family will be able to go to the movies and have more fun time doing activities together. As people want having their time on activities and their personal work in the future, food will be more developed in a very short time.
In conclusion, I strongly agree with the statement that people will no longer spend much time on preparing and cooking for food in twenty years. Because It will be easier and time saving to cook with increasig finished food products and thus people will spend more time for their leisure activities. |
