There has been an ongoing debate over whether it is necessary for teacher to be evaluated by their learners or not. Some people argue that it is meaningless to make an evaluation of teachers by students since their assessment is not accurate , and there is no exact standard for evaluation. However, I strongly believe that it is necessary for teachers to be evaluated by their learners ; enhancing the quality of lesson and increasing attention of students on their lecture.
Above all, by evaluating their own teachers, students allow to draw more attention on the lecture. This is because they will have a responsibility to evaluate their teacher accurately. Since teacher's position is much upper than students and students have to respect them and follow them. However, this evaluation will attract many students because it is very interesting things for them to evaluate person who is knowledgeable than themselves. Therefore, they will listen to the lecture more carefully in order to catch out teacher's teaching style and evaluate them. For example, when I was in 8th grade, my school offered opportunity for every student to evaluate their teachers. Due to the fact that it is not common chance, I was really try my best to evaluate every single teachers. Automatically, I tended to concentrate on the lecture better, because I had to catch either good points and some points that can be improved through the lecture.
teacher를 평가하는 것은 -> teacher에게 영향을 받는 것이지 학생이 lecture에 집중하는 것과는 상관이 없습니다. 학생이 teacher를 판단하면, teacher는 강의 내용을 개선하든지 하겠죠. 그걸 물어보는 문제에요. lecturer를 학생이 집중한다는 말이 이 질문에 포인트는 아닙니다.
