Construction of the large factory may improve many aspects of people's lives. New jobs will be given for many unemployed people and there might be some economical advancements as well. However, what I am going to present in this essay is negative sides of the factory. Simply say, air pollutions produced from the factory weaken people's immune system and make them vulnerable to many fatal diseases. The paragraph below will show the seriousness of today's air pollution caused by gases from the factory and give some alternative ways to prevent it from spreading.
First of all, gases from factory involve noxious materials. They not only disturb the growth of plants and animals but also create tiny holes in the ozone layer. The fact that those toxic particles create a thick layer of dusts and do not easily go away and rather spreads widely in a very fast speed is one of the top concerns by most of the countries. Several ways of removing gases have been suggested but nothing was actually done in response to it. In my opinion, to perfectly eliminate the factory gases from the earth, people should not support the construction of the factory and live as far as they can not to be influenced by the abnormal phenomena such as sun rays coming directly from the sun through the holes in the ozone layer.
Secondly, not many people know that gases from the factory are much worse than those from the vehicles like cars. They destroy people's immune system and make them susceptible to any kinds of diseases. For example, my grandfather died because of pneumonia. When he was alive, he was working in a factory full of dusts and detrimental particles to support his family. Though he stopped working in a such place when he became 50 and rested for another years, particles which cause pneumonia were still within his body and started to weaken his whole immune system. Finally, just in a month, he became really sick and got pneumonia. Doctors did many examination to cure his lung cancer but they ended up giving up the treatment. After few days, he passed away. If he hadn't work in a such poor environment and took care of his health all the time, then he wouldn't have died. To shortly put, it is always better to live in a nice place, unlike the place near the factory which worsens the adjacent people's health.
In conclusion, although factories provide benefits for certain groups of people, it doesn't mean that factories must be greeted with open arms. We have to consider their negative sides and decide whether to build it or not. Bottom line, if someone asks my opinion about the construction of the factory near my house, I would say I am one hundred percent against the construction of it because it causes air pollution and is potentially dangerous. |
