I saw an article yesterday stating that ‘more than 64%of the juvenile delinquency results in watching too much movies with violence.’ Indeed, according to the statistics made by the Seoul National University, as mass media flourished the crime rate have quadrupled. On the other hand, these facilities also inveigle people to education by watching Geographic channels or more. Thus, in my opinion, movies or televisions have both pros and cons. Inspite of its contribution in upholding the crime act, it also helps people build common sense in various fields.
To start off, the movies or the televisions aggravate the siness in the human being. Horror movies are exciting enough to stimulate those who have the antipathy towards the society. Moreover, by seeing crime movies, those who have been isolated are given the chance to learn how to conduct cruel slaughtering. For instance, we all have experienced the tragedy of ‘2008 Columbia University massacre incident.’ Owing to the police who have inspected this catastrophe suggests that the murderer have been too much addicted to watching the crime movies. Furthermore, I am also one of the people who is fond of seeing the crime movies and as I watch the movie it seems like the blood inside me is suppressing my body to burst out as if I want to hit something. Therefore, I feel that this media greatly influence my nature of evilness in my inner body.
On the contrary, these mass media also bestow copious factors of education to human beings. There are affluent sources of channels in TVs which promote education such as National Geographic Channel, Seeing these tv programs, we can broaden our commonsense and knowledge which we can bragger about later on. For instance, I have seen the Geographic Channel for more than 10 years and my friends call me the ‘King of Commonsense’ owing to my extensive information on diverse fields. In addition, these commonsense are beneficial when interviewing. There is a saying ‘Know more than you will achieve your victory.’ Like this adage, people can gain prevalent issue from educational channels and can utilize them as a material. Then, students are more likely to have a passing score on their interviews.
In the nutshell, there are varying virtues or vices in account of movies or television. They could either corrupt a human or grant them the possibility to obtain rich information. Appropriate use must be vital in order for people to gain benefits from these medias. |
