Some people say it is not a good idea for students to spend their time doing physical exercises; however thinking that is ridiculous, i firmly believe that physical activities bring more effective parts to students than we usually think. This is because by doing physical exercises, students are able to sustain healthy body and their grades will increase compare to other students who do not take physical lessons.
To begin with, physical activities assist students, especially obese students, to make their body healthier. Nowadays, it is urgent for students to lose their weight, since the obesity rate of students is mounting. This current affair is really serious, since when one is too fat, he or she cannot do well their woks. A story of my friend will be the best example to support my opinion. One of my friends who was overweight, he always slept during classes, rather than concentrate on studies. However, after he joined sports clubs, he lost his weight by doing physical activities such as, running, swimming and hiking. As a result, not only he lost his weight, but also he could concentrate on his school works due to his lightened body.
In addition, sports, such as playing sccor, basketball and swimming, enable students to increase their tests scores. Putting it differently, by playing those sports, students are able to get rid of their high level of stress that comes from hard school works. According to the survey conducted by Tokyo University, 96% of students who did physical activities after school, showed mounted grades. Even one of responders said that it is necessary for people, espeically students, to do physical activities, since they can do better job on their works.
In a nutshell, it is manifest that academic studies are important to students. However, in terms of both students’ health and grades, spending time on physical exercies has positive effects on students. By doing so, students can get healthy body, as well as, better grades.
