However, when we take a closer look, the earth has become more comfortable habitat since the advent of extensive human activities. Indeed, human activities, in some ways, have improved the earth’s environment as well. For these reasons, human activities have enhanced the earth overall.
Due to human activities, the world has become highly technological. Many useful inventions had been made, and some of these inventions contribute to a better environment of the earth. Just taking take a look at a satellite proves this point. One main purpose we use a satellite is to forecast weather conditions. When it predicts that a disastrous tornado or typhoon is reaching the US, we can protect the place better by preparing beforehand. Therefore, it is evident that many inventions derived from human activities enhance the earth by preserving the earth’s ecosystem.
On top of that, because of human activities, the earth is becoming more ideal place to inhabit. Previously, when little human activities were going on, animals and humans helplessly perished from starvation. However, today, the situation is different. According to a the statistic, the average human life span in 1800s was only 48, but today, it has soared up to 73. Also, the world population is increasing significantly in its number. This facts prove that human activities had made a lot more resources available to us, which directly means that the earth has improved in its quality.
In summary, despite an irreversible fact that some human activities had caused a destruction to the earth’s natural environment, in a bigger picture, their advantages outweigh their disadvantages. They ultimately enhance the quality of earth by making the earth a better place to live. Also, they protect our environments. Therefore, we should make more progress in human activities.
