Millions of parents and students strive to find competent teachers at schools and various institutions. Needless to mention, these people prefer studying by themselves than having a teacher around because individual studying doesn’t cost any money and it also enables people to accept knowledge with their own opinion, abstaining from others’ prejudice. However, I prefer to study with a teacher in terms of saving time and preciseness.
To begin with, learning from a teacher is timesaving. When people are to study alone, they have to gather up all the necessary materials individually. In addition, when they have questions during studying, they have to figure those puzzles on their own, wasting their time to focus on studying. On the other hand, studying with a teacher gets rid of all these problems. Students can just sit next to the teacher and learn what the teacher has prepared for them, not to mention asking questions to them without figuring those out on their own.
Furthermore, receiving education from a teacher is also precise. From time to time, people who study alone often face troubles with fully comprehending their studies, leading to misunderstanding of some knowledge. Nevertheless, studying with a teacher offers students with less chances of lacking preciseness with what they study. For example, I used to study and play the violin on my own until 7th grade when my mother hired a music tutor for me. Even though I thought my way of playing the instrument was faultless, her instructions made me realize that I have been wrongly playing the violin for the whole time, especially the way of holding my violin bow. Thanks to her teaching, I can now appropriately play the violin.
In conclusion, I prefer to study with a teacher because of timesaving and accuracy. It is undeniable that studying on one’s own has its own advantages. Nevertheless, I would recommend everybody to study with an instructor when they have the chance. Teachers can surely reduce students’ time of studying and raise appropriateness of what they study. |
