The decision that people make quickly are always wrong.
People always have to decide. Children decide whether to eat a chocolate bar or a candy bar, teenagers decide when to meet up with their friends, and college students decide which companies are they going to apply for. People are often put into situations that they have to decide. In my opinion, when people make a quick decision it's more likely that they will regret, because they have not taken enough time to look at the surroundings and people often make a decision impulsively.
To begin with, when people make a quick decision they will regret, because they need more time to think of the surroundings. When making a decision in a rush, there is less time for the decider to judge what's good or bad. To illustrate, I have a brother who got married. He has got his own house in Canada. He used to live in Korea but moved to Canada a year ago. The first thing he did when he went there was seeking for a good house. He found one, and it looked good. The price wasn't too expensive. Therefore, he bought the house. A few days later, he realized that he needed to walk for an hour to get to the bus stop. There was a reason for the cheap price. He only considered the quality of the house, but not other things. As a result, he sold back the house after a few months.
In addition, people often tend to make a decision impulsively without thinking deeply. One of the main reasons why people make a quick decision is that people only look at the positive part of the choice. They find it attractive, but they ignore the negative part or don't have enough time to think of it. The positive part is too strong compare to the negative part. For example, one of my friends was a crazy fan of Micheal Jackson. He loved to listen to his songs on internet. He had about 1,000 photos of Micheal Jackson on his computer. The only thing that he needed was the new album of Micheal Jackson. Therefore, he started to save up his allowance. After two months of saving up money, he could afford to buy the album. He was really happy to buy the album. He listened to the songs every single day. However, after a few days he got sick of it and gave the album to his brother. He could have saved a lot of money if he was not being impulsive.
In conclusion, making a quick decision will definitely make people regret, because people don't have enough time to think of the surroundings, and people often become impulsive in making a decision. Accordingly, taking enough time and discussing with other people could be the aspects of being a good decider.
