It is often said that students have to study major subjects in order to perpare to get jobs. It is obvious the fact that there are some subjects students have to study, such as math, history, and literature. But I beileve that students should study what they want in the long-run. The adventages of studying subjects which people are interasted in far outweigh the disadvatages. There are two details to support my idea.
First if all, If people study only important subjects, they do not get interasted in the rest of subjects. When it comes to studying, interast and attitude are the most important things. By studing what they really want, people get much more interest and encouraging. When I was a studuent in high school, I focused on math and English which are the most critical subjects in Korea. But I was boring when I stduy these subjects. After entering the university, I can concentrate on my major which includes a lot of interasting subjects for me. I can be interasted in whole study even math and English. Therefore studing interasting subjects for somebody is beneficial in all of the fields of study.
On top of that, in the rapidly changing world, companies require people more creative and energitic. There are various positions that people can get jobs. Such a position not allow people study some important subjects. It means that people do not need to study some main subjects to be hired. By studing subjects which is people really want. They can get positions more proper for them. Moreover, they can know their real interast by studying subjects what they want in the long run. It is needless to say that the most important things in someone's lives is the happieness in their work places. They can enjoy working through the result of studing proper subjects which are their favorite.
To sum up, people can be interated in whole subjects by interasting sujects for themselves. In addition, they can get proper positions in the rong run. For all these reasons, I strongly beileve that studing what people want is more important and beficial than studing required subjects for preparing jobs. |
