Some people say that today’s people spend too much time on personal enjoyment rather than what they should do. I agree with some people’s opinion for the following examples and reasons.
The first example is today’s students. Nowadays, most of students are inclined to waste too much time on personal enjoyment. For example, when I was in high school, most of my friends weren’t interested in the school work that exactly what they should mostly be interested in. They liked to hang out and enjoy dangerous things such as drugs and smoking. It lucidly showed that today’s students are likely to spend too much time on personal enjoyment rather than studying hard.
The second is today’s adults. In the past, almost every adult got married and formed a family. However, today’s adults think that they don’t necessarily get married. Since human beings’ history started, marriage is one of the most important thing people should do. It’s because the marriage is the effective way to continue human’s generations. Today’s adults want to enjoy their own life without having children or family. They think that marriage would disturb their personal enjoyment. Statistically, two out of three people believe they don’t have to get married.
The final example is rich people. I often read the article saying that rich people are trying to conceive their incomes to reduce their tax payment. Paying tax is a duty as a person of one country. In the past, most rich people were prone to give money back to society in a way of scholarship, constructing educational center. But, today’s rich people are not likely to spend their money for poor people. They love to spend their money and time on expensive vacations for a long period.
Today’s students are not studying hard which they should do. Today’s adults don’t like to get married anymore. Today’s rich people don’t want to give money back to the society or volunteer for poor and weak people. These three examples are the reasons why I agree with that today’s people spend too much time on personal enjoyment rather than what they should do. |
