A university education is very important because it can control what your future will be like, what jobs you have access to, not just how much information you have in your brain. Without doubt, a university education shouldn’t be a privilege, with only those who can afford it, have access to it. In other words, a university education should definitely be free for scholars if not for everyone. For one, the main aim of universities in the first place, is to widen people’s chance of having a successful life, by exposing them to a high-level education. Every individual has the right to have this opportunity. Secondly, almost all scholars are committed to make use of university education. They are ready to embrace knowledge. Thirdly, providing free university education to scholars will heighten the quality of living in that country.
Firstly, universities’ common priority is to educate people, and to make a better world. Especially scholars must have this chance of meeting the high-level education. It can increase the immense possibilities of what they can do with life. A university achieves its aim by educating scholars, and scholars earn the chance to become successful. It is definitely a win-win situation.
Secondly, scholars are ready to make a wise use of university education. Even the title “scholar” should guarantees that this student is a serious hard-worker who will not waste expensive university education. That student has studied arduously to become a scholar and poverty should not be the limitation that bars him/her from entering a university.
Thirdly, free university education for scholars is good for the country as well. If more people can become educated, then there will be more professionals like technicians, doctors, professors-all the people a country needs. This national advantage can become international too. For instance, more doctors in the US means there will be more doctors available to send to Africa. Likewise, free university education leads to beneficial consequences in the long-term.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that universities should provide free education to scholars. Universities can then educate more people, without the division between the poor and the rich. In addition, scholars deserve education because of their efforts. Moreover, a free university education will be the key to boost the country’s quality of living. |
