Television has destroyed communication among friends and family. agree or disagree? |
57~27 Those who like traditional ways might say that television has an negative impact on people's communication. However, I think that there are many advantages on television about communication among people. There are two main reasons. First of all, after watching dramas on television, we talk about happenings which appeared on a drama. When my mother and I watched a drama 'Love and Trouble' on TV in free time, we saw many events and happenings between characters on the drama. After watching it, we discussed problems from how to solve young people's divorces to how to meet and get married a husband who is suitable to me. If we had not watched the drama, we would have not talked about these topics. Because I and my mother were busy studying and working, we did not have much time talk to each other. After discussing events about the drama, my hobby became watching dramas. Until now, I and my mother communicate each other very often. Like this, by watching dramas together, we can not only listen other people's opinions but also have time communicating even though it is a short time. Moreover, nowadays, technology of the Internet is advanced, so people express about television programs on the Internet. Before there was not the Internet, not all people expressed their feelings or opinions with others. If there was no chance to meet people who watched the same television program, then people couldn't talk with others, so communication among people had no choice but to disappeared. However, now there are many people on the Internet who watch various TV programs, so we can communicate each other very often. In addition, we can talk with producers who make the TV programs. By using the Internet, we can not only write a suggestion about programs to producers but also think of problems of the programs together. In summary, television has influenced on people's communication positively. This is because people can talk about events appeared on programs and communicate with both people who watch the same program and producers. |
