세상이 복잡해져서 조직, 계획하는 능력을 가져야 한다

How long can you live? 80 years? 100 years? A study shows that human live only 20 years except sleeping, going to bathroom, eating meals and doing other stuffs. Thus, it would be interesting to discuss whether people need an ability to plan and organize. Some people might insist that doing one’s best every moment is more important than making a plan for some reasons. As far as I am concerned, however, I maintain that young people should have the ability to plan and organize in terms of using one’s time economically and preparing better future. First of all, the ability to plan and organize makes it possible for students to manage their time effectively. In general, in these busy days, it is very important to spend time economically in order to achieve the goal of life; otherwise, people who do not plan their time would have difficulty in surviving in this competitive society. According to a recent survey conducted by ‘British National Human Behavior Institute’, compared to those who do not organize their daily schedule, those who make a plan in the beginning of the day showed average 40 minute time-saving effect in performing same tasks, other conditions being equal. In fact, it is not difficult to hear or see similar cases around us. The second reason why planning and organizing is needed for young people in these days is that if they do not design their day and live day-to-day struggle for survival, it is not easy to expect better future than now. Rather, people who like to make a plan for their dream and future might take a step forward to create a successful life. To take one of my friends Jennifer as an example, she has become a preeminent artist thanks to her ceaseless effort and the ability to plan and organize. Since entering university, she has always planed ahead for her dream, designing what will do after graduating from school or when go abroad for learning practical skills, and so on. Had it not been for her elaborate plans, she could not have become such a famous artist. All things considered, although it is not a black-or-white issue whether young people should have the ability to plan and organize or not, I would not hesitate to side with the idea that capability to plan and organize makes life more fruitful. That is because these abilities are greatly helpful in not only spending time effectively but also preparing bright future. |
