1. Why should we choose you? You should choose me, because I have the qualities that you might be looking for, such as smartness, attentiveness, and a desire to learn. 2. What qualities make a ‘superior’ student? There are too many qualities to name, but there are a lot of big qualities that make a student superior. One quality that makes any student effective is that they pay lots of attention and participate in class. But not only should they be a good learner; they also need to be helpful to their peers. A third thing that makes a student more than just a student is that they have the enthusiasm and desire to learn. 3. What do you see yourself doing twenty years from now? I see myself as an interpreter at the Atlanta airport in the US. It is one of the busiest international airports, so it takes in a lot of foreign passengers. I want to help the people with different languages and cultural backgrounds who don't know the language and customs of America. When I first came to America several years ago, I couldn't understand any of the signs or what other people were saying, which made things really awkward for me. I can sympathize with how confused and lost foreign people would feel, and I want to be able to help them. 4. What rules do you have in your family? One of the rules that my parents have set for me is a curfew, like every other teenager has. When I go out, I have to be back by 9pm. It is also one of my least favorite rules (ha-ha). 5. What is your opinion of plastic surgery? I think that plastic surgery ruins people more than helps them. It doesn’t necessarily ruin the actual person who gets the surgery, but it hurts people around them because it lowers their self-esteem. It gives them something that they want to be able to measure up to but just can't and it really hurts them emotionally. |
