Some say that we can’t get everything from the book. I strongly agree this argument. There are two logical reasons why I supporting this assertion. I will illustrate the reasons to make my suggestion convincing.
First of all, it is better to see the sight-seeing or historical remains directly. Even though we can see that with picture in the book, however, we cannot feel the grandious and spectacle scenery. As for me, I couldn’t guess how big and long ‘the great wall in china’. However, after my traveling to China, I recognized how enormous and huge it is. In the case of historical remains, I suggest to see it at firsthand. The atmospheres that invaded in remains cannot be learned by a paper.
Second, in the event of mathematics and science, it may be hard to understand clearly using a book. Sometimes it is beneficial to hear and take class because the learner can ask one’s curiosity frequently. In addition, in terms of debate, it is necessary to make arguments personally. It could not be done by a volume.
Third, there is a explanation problem when we use the book. When I was doing ‘yoga’, my friend asked me about the postures of yoga. At that time, I recommended a book. However, she has a problem getting the information. Therefore, I gave her a yoga video. By seeing that, my friend totally understands how to do the yoga. Likewise, the book sometimes misses the vivid motions. In this case, to show the exact motion would be beneficial.
In conclusion, some cases show disadvantages to take knowledge from the book. In the case of real facts, hard problem solving and showing the movement like aerobics, to present these personally would be a best solution. |
