▶ Your Answer : Some students complain when they receive homework every day. Although I am one of those students, I possess a firm belief that teachers still must assign students homework every single day with an exception on weekends. With this policy implemented, students do not forget about the topics of their studies and become assiduous.
To begin with, youths consistently review subjects as they do their homework. The purpose of homework is to improve on the fundamental basis of knowledge for the better understanding. Daily accomplishing it leads juveniles to a more evident path to success. For example, in my previous school, I was assigned math homework each day and English homework two days a week. On the one hand, my capacity to solve math problems significantly boosted. I, who could not even solve the trigonometric ratios, could solve trigonometric identities in a month. On the other hand, I felt that my English skills remained in the same position without any advance even though I devoted all my efforts during the English class. Because I had the language class only twice a week, the lack of practice through homework induced the failure of a superior ability of speaking in English.
On top of that, teenagers can maintain diligence through the tasks. Children often become idle when they feel that they do not have anything to fulfill. Constantly encouraging them to work would cause zeal toward studying diverse subjects. For instance, during my summer vacation, I spent two months studying TOEFL in an academy and two weeks at home independently. At first, as I accepted numerous tasks from teachers in an academy, I slept merely three hours each night. I continued to feel satisfied and proud of myself. However, when a day for me to study alone finally arrived, I lost track of myself. I could not feel the necessity to be so hard-working because no one would correct me at home. As a result, I wasted my precious time in watching TV rather than studying English and math. Homework has such an authority to make youths fulfill their duties as students.
All in all, assigning homework develop students’ speaking skills and passion in studying. I would strongly encourage juveniles to do all their homework without any complaint because I can assure that there would be more pros than cons when studying more. |
