Nowadays, the more complex our society is, the more easily people get stressed. Therefore, recently, people are eager to contrive the effective way to relieve stress. Under this circumstance, there is much controversy over whether spending time alone is better to reduce stress or not. Some people believe being isolated from people is helpful to relax themselves. However, I strongly insist that we are able to relieve our stress more efficienty when we are with people such as friends or family. First of all, if when we get stressed and spend time alone, it is easy to be depressed more. Also, when we are caught in difficult situation, other people give us appropriate solutions.
To begin with, getting alone makes people feel depressed. Especially, when a person is in trouble and he or she is alone, the person is likely to think of it more negatively than when with others. On the other hand, if the person spend time with other people, they will help him or her to think of it in positive way. It is because, our friends are willing to console us when we get stressed rather than scold or jolt us. Furthermore, when there are many people and a lot of conversation, the atmosphere of that place is very lively. Naturally,in this area, we can be refreshed and relax ourselves more easily. Let me take my experience for example, I was in trouble with my weight. Therefore, I started diet and I ate very small amount of food on a daily basis. It was very hard time for me and I used to get stressed and depressed either. I spent all the day in home not doing anything but only worring about how to throw away my fat. It was very useless because only concerning was never helpful to my diet and stress from those worrying made me eat more and more. However, one day, one of my friends invited me to her birthday party, so I went to there and spend very enjoyable time dancing, chatting, and eating some foods. Then I felt that I was free from stress which was so burdensome for me to solve alone. In this sense, being with people help people to relieve their stress.
Secondly, being with other people, they often suggest us how to solve our problems. It is obvious that if there are more people, there are more wisdom. Therefore, while we talk about our troubles with other people, they can offer us proper solutions. Surely, the time which we spend alone thinking about the way how to escape from hardships is useless if we don't find the exact way to solve it. In addition, it is likely to confine our thoughts to one side; and this side is usually in negative way. Of course these thoughts never help solving problems. Asking for a help to others will be much better way to find the solutions. When it comes to me, whenever I have difficulties, I talk with my father about it. He has lived a lot more time than me, so he has experienced a lot more things than me either. Nearly every thing I concern about has already happened to my father, so he always says to me how to solve those problems. Actually, I can solve my difficulties just by following his advice.This shows that spending time sharing experiences and finding solutions with others effectively help to escape from being stressed.
To sum up, being with others has more benefits when dealing with our stress than getting alone. Most of all, in lively atmosphere, we can relax and be refreshed not thinking negatively. Furthermore, from others, we can obtain many solutions and select what is the most appropriate to our situation. |
