Most of the education system consists of students learning a designated material. In my position, teacher should feel responsible to make a student learn the material. Often students, especially of young age, fail to perceive the importance of learning and it is the teacher's job to ensure that this process is achieved by the fellow students.
First of all, the teachers are the ones who are expected to have more experience and knowledge in the respected field, than the students. Thus, he or she should more or less be capable of giving them the required education through the material that clearly addresses the subject. Teachers also tend to be those who have been trained to extract effective information from a source or a material, so the students are likely to get the best of the material with the teacher by learning it under his or her supervision.
Second, the material is normally chosen with appropriate reasons and to deliver education most efficiently. However, the students tend to be "sidetracked" easily from learning the material due to distractions such as classmates. To prevent this the teacher has the responsibility to make the class focus on the topic by making their lessons enjoyable and alluring. By making the lesson more interesting, the teacher would automatically inspire the students to learn the material.
In conclusion, i believe that making a student learn the material classifies itself as one of many responsibilities the teacher commits him or herself to. This is because for one, the teachers usually have the intelligence tht corresponds to the subject along with being aware of the notion that education is extremely valuable. In addition, the material deals with the curriculum well and the teacher has the responsibility to make his or her lessons attractive enough so that learning this effective supplement becomes pleasant and enjoyable. |
