Some people think that the best way to relax and reduce stress is spend time alone. As far as I am concerned, However, it is better to spend my time with others including my friends and family members than spend my time alone for the following two reasons. First, all the activities doing together are helpful to relieve my stress. Second, through conversation with others, I can feel refresh and remove my stress as to mental health.
First of all, being with others through sports activities is more effective in relaxing stress than being alone. In general, there is no doubt that exercising is good for removing stress. Especially, by doing sports together from soccer to jogging, we can basically share some good feelings from relieving stress and such feelings are maximized when playing sports together. I will take my experience for example. Actually, I was the one who is very shy and quiet in public. It was natural that I always spent my time alone doing internet game and reading books. The problem was that I was getting sick of and tired of the way that I spend my time and it became my stress. Of course, doing internet game and reading books were not helpful at all to relieve stress. One day, after school, I decided to join small women's soccer club after my long hesitations. Unlike all my worries, everyone in that club really welcomed me and naturally I adapted my self very well to the club. The most exciting thing for me was I could always relieve stress from playing soccer together. Not only I could relieve all my stress coming from my shy personality but also it worked in every situations as compared to my alone-doing hobbies. In the end, I became more sociable person than ever and I have been effectively capable of dealing with stress. This shows that being with others is a best way to relieve stress.
Second of all, I can relieve stress through talking with my acquaintances. Specifically, talking each other is very good for mental health because one of the influential ways to relieve stress is revealing my true emotions and thoughts to outside. Some people may argue that being with friends could be more stressful in terms of other's interruption and distractions. However, when it comes to removing stress, there is no more effective way than talking and chatting with the person that I love and understands me. According to the Human and Research Foundation, the more time people have conversation with friends, the less stress people eventually get. In this sense, we can relieve stress in a more effective way by spending time with our beloved people.
In conclusion, I believe that the best way to relax and reduce stress is spend my time with others for the reasons that I have mentioned above. First, spending time with others through sports activities is the most effective way of relaxing stress than being alone. Second, I can relieve stress by talking with my friends and parents. |
