Sending messages or letters might be a good (convenient / 'good' 이나 'bad' 같은 단어들은 뜻 전달이 잘 안된다더라고요. 되도록이면 안쓰시는걸 추천..) way to convey your ideas easily. However, I assert that it has a deadly disadvantage that the receiver needs to give back his opinions to the writer (sender). Then, it may need (require) you to take time for his answer. Conversely, there are two reasonable advantages if you choose to complain in person. It is persuasive, and gives you an answer immediately.
First of all, complaining in person will give you chances to get an answer right away. Face to face requires both of your talking while writing takes time to get back (the) receiver’s thinking. To illustrate this point, I have personal experience on it. My phone unfortunately got scratched on its screen by dropping it on the floor (accidentally). I needed to replace its screen so I mailed a letter to the service center. However, their answer literally took 3 days which I expected that it would take within 1 day. With my stifling feeling, I met the servicer face to face. Then, I got the answer immediately, and it was also replaced within 2 hours. So, I noticed that complaining in person is the best way to get solutions immediately.
Next, one of vast advantages of complaining in person is that it is way more persuasive. Face to face contains your emotion, speaking, and hearing. Human feeling usually depends on how mood goes on. To give you an idea, my sister’s experience will fit on it. She desired to purchase a car, but she could not afford it. The only way to buy a car is borrowing money from dad. She firstly wrote reasons why she needs it, and sent it to dad. Unfortunately, it could not really change my father’s (dad's) mind that she hasn’t got proper age to get own car. However, she complains every single reason why she wants it in person with desiring emotion. My day finally got persuaded and purchased her a car by getting complaint face to face.
To sum up (the points), in order to get immdiate answers, you must choose to complain in person. Plus, it has more possibilities to get satisfied answers. On the whole, controlling the mood in person will lead complaints to success. | |
